It is the brainchild of Scott Brotherton, who wrote the piece, conducted all of the research, and performs the title role himself.
RPM Productions was founded in 2005 by Scott Brotherton and Damion Fontaine. The company's other offerings include the critically acclaimed Frank & Dean Show, and The Rat Pack and More, which features Stan Davis stepping into the role of Sammy Davis Jr.

Scott Brotherton has been delighting audiences for decades, cultivating his expertise through numerous years of live theater performances, beginning at a young age.
As a seasoned performer, he has had the privilege of performing in esteemed venues across Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, Hawaii, Florida, and currently, Cleveland, which he proudly calls home. Notably, Scott was a member of the Actors Equity and SAG unions in Los Angeles and had the honor of portraying Neil Diamond in the Legends show and Dean Martin in the Ratpack is Back in Las Vegas. Furthermore, he is one half of the acclaimed Frank & Dean show, which has been entertaining audiences for nearly twenty years in Cleveland, Florida, and beyond.
Growing up, Scott was heavily influenced by Neil Diamond's music and eventually discovered his own ability to capture the essence of Diamond's voice, dynamics, and mannerisms. Solitary Man is a biographical tribute to the life and music of Neil Diamond, a poet, philosopher, and masterful storyteller whose songs have resonated with millions worldwide. It is a profound honor to share these iconic songs.
